About Krispy Kreme products

What is the best way to store Krispy Kreme doughnuts?

Our doughnuts are a freshly made product and therefore need to be cared for as you would a cake or pastries. Krispy Kreme doughnuts are made with ingredients which have similar attributes as those used to make bread. Therefore, just as a loaf of bread is best eaten fresh, so too are Krispy Kreme doughnuts. To maintain your Krispy Kreme doughnuts in optimum condition, we recommend that you store them in a temperature under 18 degrees and out of direct sunlight. To keep Krispy Kreme doughnuts at their freshest after their first day at home, you can freeze the doughnuts and reheat in the microwave.

Can I freeze my Krispy Kreme doughnuts?

The brilliance of a Krispy Kreme doughnut is best when fresh. If however you choose to freeze the doughnuts for a later date, make sure you seal them in an airtight package to ensure the ageing process is halted while in the freezer.

What about reheating?

This is a dish which will have your guests drooling. If you can’t eat them fresh, take your frozen ones out of their airtight package in the freezer and pop them in the microwave for 8 seconds. It’s not exactly like having a hot one from a Krispy Kreme Factory Store, but some say it’s pretty close.

New Store Opening

When and where will your store be opening?

Our first store opens at 3 Ronwood Ave Manukau! To celebrate we will have having an opening party. The party starts from 8:00am Wednesday 28th February.

Drive thru will open from approx 9:00am on opening day then 24/7

Last order via foot queue is 11pm during peak times

I'll be at the opening, will there be a long wait?

This is our first store in New Zealand and we anticipate the interest will be high on opening day. Wait times will vary. We recommend you allow up to 1- 2 hour waits for drive thru on opening day and up to 60 minutes queue if you're on foot.

It is likely opening day will be busy all day and through the evening. However, drive-thru is 24/7.

There is usually less people queuing post opening date on Thursday and Friday in the early morning.

I'm planning on driving to the store, where can I park?

We are expecting some traffic delays and have put measures in place. Please follow instructions from traffic control people on the roads around the store and any electronic directional signage to ensure a pleasant experience for you.

Other ways of getting there include public transport:

  • Manukau Train station 10min walk.
  • Public Carpark on Ronwood Ave.

Please adhere to any street parking restrictions. Manukau City Car Park is monitored by Parking Enforcement Services. If you park illegally you run the risk of being towed or receive a breach notice so please make sure you check the street signs.

I'd like to work at your new store. How can I apply?

For now we’ve completed the first round of recruitment for this store but we will definitely be recruiting again down the track.
